50 artists to exhibit work during Sunday’s Marquette-Atwood Art Walk

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A neighborhood art walk will feature 50 local artists across 32 homes on Madison’s near east side Sunday, organizers say.

The Marquette-Atwood Neighborhood Art Walk is a free event for all ages to view and buy artists’ work.

The walk, started in 2010, runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Many displays will be outdoors and will range from pottery and jewelry to photography and paintings.

“Art Walk has grown to a fun day where people make a day of strolling the neighborhood and hanging out in the nearby parks with gorgeous views of Lake Monona,” organizer and artist Debbie Olin said. “With so many wonderful restaurants, coffee hangouts, and shops on the near Eastside, it makes for a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.”
